The J&D Lift Story

The J&D story begins with our father, Jose Alvarez, El Jefe, in the hot and hardworking city of Mexicali, Mexico during the 1990s. As a young accountant for a small automotive filter manufacturer, Jose quickly noticed that the company's sales were struggling. Rather than limiting himself to the responsibilities of his role, he took initiative. Armed with an entrepreneurial mindset, determination, and a natural ability to connect with people, he personally visited auto parts stores and mechanic shops throughout Baja California and Northern Sonora states to introduce and promote the company's products.

His efforts produced results almost immediately. Sales in his territory grew rapidly, earning him a promotion to Regional Sales Manager for Northwestern Mexico. Through years of outstanding performance and relationship-building, Jose established himself as a top sales leader in the automotive industry.

Eventually, an opportunity brought Jose to the United States a challenge he embraced wholeheartedly in pursuit of the American Dream.

Like many immigrants starting over, Jose was willing to do whatever it took to build a better future for his family. He began working as a maintenance worker at a local building, handling everything from mopping floors to cleaning bathrooms. Not long after, he accepted a position as a counter sales representative at a forklift dealership, where he was able to apply his automotive knowledge and sales experience.

But Jose's entrepreneurial spirit never faded. Within months, he decided to take another leap of faith and start his own forklift parts business. The same work ethic, charisma, and determination that fueled his early success once again proved invaluable. In less than a year, he had built a loyal customer base, established steady sales, and achieved enough success to support his family and purchase his first home in America.

As the years went by, his sons, Juan and David, joined their father and helped transform his venture into a true family business. Together, they continued building on the foundation Jose created growing the company through hard work, strong customer relationships, and a shared commitment to serving their community.

Today, those same values of perseverance, integrity, and dedication continue to guide our company and everything we do.

Payment Terms

Return Policy

We accept returns within the 30-day return window, in accordance with eBays return policy. If an item arrives damaged, not as pictured, or not functioning properly, we will provide a return shipping label. For incorrect parts ordered by the buyer, the buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
